Seachrome GW-4339-Q SS Satin Stainless 'Wellness Series' Swing-Away Wall-To-Floor Grab Bar. This wall-to-floor mounted swing bar is engineered to move 90 degrees out and back for solid support in the shower. The swing-away bar is 39" X 3" with a 21" swing arm, locking rotating flange with 39" mounting centers . This sturdy bar mounts to the floor and an adjacent wall, to provide users with secure support when getting into or out of a tub or shower. It swings outward when in use, then tucks securely against the wall. Made from durable #304 stainless steel, it can support 250 lbs. when properly installed.

When properly installed, all Seachrome 1½" clearance, wall-mounted, straight bars have been designed and manufactured to support loads exceeding the downward pull requirements for Federal specifications FHA, VA, HUD, hospital codes, and private construction. The actual "in use" load bearing capacity of any grab bar, however, will be limited by the strength of its mounting surface and installation hardware. Seachrome recommends that grab bars be installed using 2" minimum thickness "in wall" solid wood backing material with #10 x 2" stainless steel, phillips-head, sheet metal screws, or using a wall embedded, minimum 12 ga. (2.8mm) steel anchor plate with #10 x 24 stainless steel machine screws. When mounting on toilet partitions, Seachrome recommends the use of 3" (76mm) dia., 16 Ga. (1.6mm), stainless steel, "through wall" anchor disks. Please contact the factory for further mounting recommendations. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD ANY GRAB BAR BE MOUNTED TO DRYWALL, SHEETROCK, PLASTER, FIBERGLASS, ACRYLIC OR OTHER SIMILAR "HOLLOW" WALL SURFACES WITHOUT APPROPRIATE WOOD OR STEEL BACKING MATERIAL.
